Section 6. Fractions of terms of punishment

In calculating fractions of terms of punishment, imprisonment for life shall be reckoned as equivalent to imprisonment for twenty years unless otherwise provided.

பிரிவு 6. தண்டனை விதிமுறைகளின் பகுதிகள்

தண்டனை விதிமுறைகளின் பின்னங்களைக் கணக்கிடுவதில், ஆயுள் தண்டனை என்பது வழங்கப்படாவிட்டால் இருபது ஆண்டுகள் சிறைத்தண்டனைக்கு சமமானதாகக் கருதப்படும்.

सजा की शर्तों के अंशों की गणना में, आजीवन कारावास को बीस साल के कारावास के बराबर माना जाएगा जब तक कि अन्यथा प्रदान न किया गया हो.
