Office of the CJI Dr. Justice DY Chandrachud Internship Application
(1) Students in their fourth or final year of the 5 year B.A. LL.B. program (or its equivalent) or in their second or final year of the LL.B. program are eligible to intern at the office of Dr. Justice DY Chandrachud. Advocates who are currently practicing or have practiced before any court in India are not eligible for the internship program.
(2) If you wish to apply for more than one slot, please fill the form once again.
(3) The deadline to apply for an internship is 10 weeks before your desired internship period.
(4) Due to the large number of applications the office receives, we are unable to inform each applicant of the status of their application. If you have not heard back from the office 5 weeks before the start of the internship slot you have applied for, your application was not accepted.
(5) Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email about 6 to 8 weeks before the start of the relevant internship slot.

From internships beginning 26 June 2023 onwards, the Office will be allowing virtual applications only on a case-by-case basis in exceptional circumstances.
